Meet Our Newest Promotoras
Ady Perez was Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City. She went to City College, and has a B.A. in Liberal Arts. Ady has been working at non-profit organizations for over 20 years. Before coming to Grameen PrimaCare, Ady was a Community Health Worker Supervisor and provided leadership, guidance, and management support to a team. In her free time, she loves going shopping and reading.
Bineta Diouf was born and raised in Senegal, West Africa. She came to the USA when she was 16 years old. Bineta has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Hunter College (CUNY), and she is very passionate about women’s health and rights. She has worked with women to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding, and is a certified birth and postpartum doula. Bineta is very active in the African immigrant communities and has tutored English to French-speaking immigrant children so they can go to college. She is also a member of African Community Together (ACT). Bineta’s goal is to eventually go back to college to get her Masters Degree in Mental Health.
