Marty Cordes is Co-Founder of the Cordes Foundation, which she created with her husband Ron in 2006. She directs the activities of the Foundation focused on global human rights and empowering women and girls, including initiatives in education, health care and job training. She also serves on the Boards of Ripple Effect Images and the Global Center for Social Entrepreneurship at the University of the Pacific. Previously, she enjoyed a career in the banking industry, and served in several volunteer leadership capacities with social service organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Laura Giadorou Koch
Laura Giadorou Koch is a lawyer practicing in New York and Argentina, a social entrepreneur and an innovative educator. She is also a communications expert and fundraiser working within the fields of global development and environmental issues, with a focus on corporate sustainability, microfinance and the education of youth. Laura currently serves as CEO for a “B Certified Company,” in addition to serving aa Senior Advisor for Ashoka and Officer for the Young President Organization (YPO) for the Sustainability Business & Impact Networks. She is member of Women Corporate Directors and the Economic Club of New York. Laura is a certified yoga instructor, meditation and health counselor.
Vidar Jorgensen is a founding member and president of Grameen America and Grameen Research. Vidar is also the Chairman of World Health Care Congress, a for-profit corporation which owns and manages over 300 health care industry conferences. He graduated from Harvard College in 1969 with honors in political science.
Amy S. Leder is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s New York office. Amy focuses her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, joint ventures and general corporate counseling. She has significant experience handling numerous transactions including representation of underwriters and issuers in public offerings of equity and debt, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments and joint ventures. Amy is recognized by The Legal 500 United States for being one of the leading lawyers in her field.
Born in Tehran, Iran, Mahsa Pelosky moved to the United States in 1987, attended Fordham University and has worked for the Department of Housing Preservation & Development, the Commission for the United Nations & Consular Corps and the Estee Lauder Companies. She is Co-Chair of the IMPACT Fund for the White House Project and serves on the Associates Council of Prep for Prep. Mahsa is a member of the Board of Directors of the Citizens Committee for Children of New York, and also serves on the boards of the New York Women’s Foundation, the New York City Fund for Public Advocacy, and the Women Donors Network.
Jennifer Zimmerman, Esq. has worked at Morgan Stanley for over 15 years. She currently serves as Executive Director of Morgan Stanley, where she is head of the Employee Benefits Legal Group. Previously, she was an attorney at Paul Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. She has served on several board and committees at Morgan Stanley, including the Compensation Planning Advisory Board at Tax Management, Inc. She earned her JD from Cornell Law School and her Master of Law in Taxation at NYU Law School. Jennifer’s expertise are in executive compensation, law relating to employee benefits and compensation, as well as wealth management.
